A Crumbling Cathedral is a black and white photographic study of a small badland tucked away in Nevada's high desert.
The landscape out here resembles a gothic cathedral. Here, eroded walls resemble organ pipes, spires rise like steeples, and narrow passages lead into spaces that feel like sanctums and shrines. Dark trees along the canyon rim stand like gargoyles, adding to the feeling that the landscape was built rather than formed.
